In 2000, Rebecka broke into the world of winemaking as an intern at followed by a promotion to Assistant Enologist. After 4 years, Rebecka joined Ferrari-Carano as an Enologist in 2004, which led to a promotion as Assistant Winemaker. By 2012, Rebecka had completed the University of California Davis Winemaking Program and was Associate Winemaker overseeing the Pinot Grigio and Zinfandel Wine Programs. Rebecka is now Senior Winemaker overseeing Ferrari-Carano's Red Wines Programs. 2020 TRE TERRE CHARDONNAY Russian River Valley This wine offers delicious aromas of lychee, honeysuckle, caramel apple and ripe pear. The palate is a delightful blend of apricot, golden apple, graham cracker, lemon meringue and buttercream through the finish. As a child, he was fortunate to spend time traveling around the world with his family where he appreciated learning about other cultures and found a deep interest in food. He began replicating dishes that he gal had experienced while traveling, watching cooking shows with his dad, and reading cookbooks in the moming before school. The main driving force for his decision to enter the culinary world professionally was experiencing the iconic French Laundry when he was 12 years old.
