Los Altos Ranch Market (is a small American chain of grocery stores that operates in the state of Arizona. The stores cater particularly to customers of Hispanic backgrounds and cultures. Also called Cardenas Ranch Markets, Los Altos Ranch Markets carry unique products such as huge handmade tortillas, fresh cotija cheese, mole sauce, and more, in addition to standard grocery items. The store also has an in-store restaurant where traditional Mexican-style foods can be eaten in or taken away.

Los Altos Ranch Market - History

Los Altos Ranch Market started in 1982 when the family of stores was created to serve the Hispanic populations of different cities in the state of Arizona. The stores started out as “Pro’s Ranch Markets” but were rebranded in 2014. By 2017, Los Altos Ranch Market stores were purchased by Cardenas, another leading chain of supermarkets and grocery stores that cater to Latin-X customers in the area. When the seven stores were purchased by Cardenas, no immediate branding changes were made, but plans were to integrate Los Altos with the existing Cardenas stores.
