Rooms To Go is an American furniture store chain based in Seffner, Florida. Rooms To Go's original business model is whole-room furniture packages, with the slogan: "Buy the piece, save a little. Buy the room, save a lot!" They display their furniture in predesigned rooms for people wanting to save time and money without sacrificing quality.
Jeffrey and Morty Seaman founded Rooms To Go in 1990 after selling Seaman's Furniture. In September 1990, they opened the first Rooms To Go location in Orlando, Florida. By 1996, Rooms To Go had become Florida's fastest-growing furniture retailer, and over the next two years, expanded into three southeastern states and Texas. In 2018, Rooms To Go launched a new store brand, Rooms To Go Outdoor, and bought outdoor furniture store chain Carl's Patio. In 2016, the company hit over $2 billion in revenue and had more than 7,000 employees. Today Rooms-To-Go has 151 stores in the southwestern and southeastern U.S. and Puerto Rico and is the third-largest furniture retailer in the U.S., according to the publication Furniture Today.
