Roche Bros is a privately owned American chain of upscale retail grocery stores that is based in Mansfield, Massachusetts. Stores sell various items for the whole family, including groceries, fresh produce, meat, dairy, health & beauty, and more. Roche Bros is particularly passionate about offering local goods, natural items, gluten-free, organic, low sodium, and Kosher foods. In addition to groceries, Roche Bros also offers catering services, freshly made hot meals, sushi bar, olive bar, salad bar, and grocery delivery.
With the first store opening in Roslindale, Massachusetts in 1952, Pat and Bud Roche’s company Roche Bros was formed. Originally only selling meat and produce, within five years the store expanded to include various grocery items. The company expanded to open stores in other communities and stayed in the family when it was passed down to sons Rick and Ed Roche. 2014 brought a new concept of smaller, neighborhood markets called Brothers Marketplace. As of 2021, the brand operates at least 20 stores in the state of Massachusetts.
